Beautiful & Incredibly detailed original Mid Century painting of Tiger (about to pounce), hand painted & authentic, by unknown Artist Louis G. Kolberg, signed & dated 1957 at lower right of image. Painted on silk/satin & markings are visible where it used to be folded & taped when originally framed. Quite striking. Measures 17 inches width x 15 inches height. Verso shows where paint bled through, which authenticates that it’s hand painted; also, signed of aging but overall, retains it’s color & beauty. Slight ‘attic’ smell but eliminated once framed, simply adds to the charm.
