Diane Arbus Set of 17 Postcards, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, 2005
A printed thick-card portfolio enclosing seventeen 7- x 5-inch postcards and one vellum sheet with a quote by Diane Arbus. Sixteen of the postcards can be assembled to produce a large image of a Diane Arbus photograph of her apartment wall where she had tacked-up found and original images; the 17th postcard shows the entire image. Published in conjunction with the exhibition Diane Arbus Revelations at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC, March 8 – May 30, 2005. A fascinating ephemeral item.
