For over 15 years, LPM Projects (formerly La Petite Mort Gallery, 2005-2015, Ottawa, Canada) maintained a steady love/hate relationship with the local & international press.
Be it that it is crucial to keep this relationship alive, it can make you, or fuck you up.
From the New York Times (New York, USA), Newsweek Magazine (Japan), British Journal of Photography (London, England), The National Post (New York, USA), Applied Arts Magazine (Toronto, Canada), The Ottawa Citizen (Ottawa, Canada), Porter Magazine (Toronto, Canada), Radio Canada & CBC Radio (Ottawa, Canada), CKCU Carleton University Radio (Ottawa, Canada) & The Globe & Mail (Toronto), Vie des Arts (Montreal) & many more, we were very blessed with a constant flow of press, wether we were endlessly called the “Mouton Noir” of the Canadian art market, a ‘subversive’ gallery or a pornographer, we saw it all.
As the expression goes: “All Press is Good Press”.
We may disagree on that, but we are still grateful.
