Christ is seated on the globe of the world. Above and below are bucrania, or ox skulls, a favourite ornamental motive of ancient Rome revived in the Renaissance. The Metropolitan Museum of Art’. Printed in interior of card in red ink ‘Christmas Greetings’. Signed ‘H. Vollmer’. Measures 3.5 x 5.25 inches. Great condition. $25.
