This beautifully produced book juxtaposes Pierson’s drawings, sign-lettering word pieces, and installations with the artist’s more frequently reproduced photographs. Sensual, seductive, sad, sly, and initially looking like snapshots from a road trip gone awry, these images are painfully unspectacular evocations of feelings of loss, longing, life, and love.
