SOLD. Mexico Authentic Antique Folk Art Hand Made Wooden Bench
Mexico Authentic Antique Folk Art Hand Made Wooden Bench. Acquired in antique shop several years ago in Mexico. Built in the traditional style, without the use of nail. Simply wood joint and some glue. Extremely sturdy and quite heavy. Absolutely no signs of termites, & the piece was treated to prevent it also. Measures approx. 12 inches width x 18 inches length x 16 inches height. See photos of the bottom of the piece to two two metal brackets, one which I belive holds a seam together in the wood. Ive had this piece for years and it solid enough to tap dance on, but alos notice how the legs are oddly uneven, yet the top is balanced. Someone mentioned it could be a cow milking bench.
