Quirky & Unusal Brut Style Mid Century Drawing on Paper by David Sortor. It seems to be a portrait of a man holding some sort of doll, sitting on a stool, with a cat in the foreground, with a similar portrait displayed on the wall behind them. Signed & Dated 1938 at lower right bottom. Measures 8.5 x 14 inches. Creases, small tears & usual signs of aging. Sortor edited a few books including ‘Signs of Life’, co-authored by H.M. Raphaellian & Felix Martinez.
