Mid Century Portrait of Woman, Unknown Artist 1950’s.

New Collaboration.
Recent Acquisition from the Private Art Collection of a Los Angeles Collector of Mid Century Art, who passed away in 1999. Acquired via his son in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Mid Century Study Drawing Portrait Smiling Woman; ‘María’ handwriting in pencil on right side of portrait, guessing it’s the subject’s name. Drawing is in pencil, with visible erasure marks, which oddly, adds to the uniqueness of the ghostly drawing.  Work on Paper by Unknown American Artist. Signed ‘Karen O’Brien’ but research finds no results. Paper has faded to a light brown discolouration but retains its beauty. Paper is fragile. Measures 12 x 16 inches but is currently folded in half, hence it is double the size when unfolded. Drawing is blank on verso other than the signature of the artist.

Asking $125.

item is darker in photos to help see details better. Actual drawing is much lighter & quite difficult to photograph. More photos available upon request.
