Set of 2 White Panton Chairs by Verner Panton for Vitra. Acquired in 2005 and was used in a public art gallery. Signs of wear, including scratches, but has probably been sat on my over 1000 people, to be perfectly honest. Incredibly solid and durable with considerable weight to them. White semi gloss finish to them. Can even be durable outdoors. 

Asking $225 each.

 

First conceived by Verner Panton in 1959, the Panton chair was developed for serial production in collaboration with Vitra (1967). Today, the all-plastic chair is an icon of twentieth-century design. It has received numerous international design awards and is on display in prominent museums worldwide.
