Rare Mid Century Tortoise Shell Lamp
Rare Mid Century Tortoise Shell Lamp. Acquired in Paris at an antique flea market, in the early 1980’s. Measures 30 inches height x 26 inches width x 18 inches depth. Tortoise shell is removable and is NOT REAL; it’s fibergalss. Othewise would have been illegal to bring to Canada. Set of 4 horns (all removable): bull, cow, & ram (to my estimation). Caribou horns are tagged (1991) and were added by me several years later, for more dramatic effect. Wooden base, painted black (original finish / has never been retouched) & brass rod for light.
A very rare item that definetly one-of-a-kind.
