‘Visual Aids’ Collection Queer Trading Cards, New York, 2010

 

Set of Queer Trading Cards, commissioned by Visual AIDS, New York, in 2010 (Read details below). Cards are in mint condition, and there are multiples of each. A total 19 cards & 3 stickers. Given to me as a gift & signed (initials) by artists/photographers Slava Mogutin & Brian Kenny, when I was curating an exhibit of their work in my gallery in 2011. Cards & Stickers measure 2.5 x 4 inches each. 

Asking $125 due to artists’ signatures.

Visual AIDS, an New York based organization dedicated to utilizing art to fight AIDS, has recently released a new series of artist edition broadsides and trading cards, Play Smart, that promote sex-positive harm reduction practices for men who have sex with men. Combining the work of five artists, these little gems offer up a creative and collaborative prevention tool for anyone doing HIV prevention work.
